Recently, Governor Dannel Malloy, announced their cyber security plan to help protect Connecticut’s firms and utilities against an outside attack. According to WCBS Bureau Chief for Connecticut Fran Schneidau, the chairman who leads this effort has a very solid background for intelligence. According to them, the utilities that they have are working to prevent any type of cyber-attack that may lead to loss of water, electric power or natural gas for a long period. This move by Connecticut’s government is surely going to give hackers or thieves on any cyber network reluctant to make any move.
