Supported by the UK government, Open University launched a crash course that aims to develop new generation of online security professionals.
“Introduction to Cyber Security” is a short-term course open to anyone who wants to be an online security professional in a short period of time. The course is online and can be accessed by anyone across the country with internet access. It covers several topics like network security, threat landscape, cryptography, malware and security risks management.
The course is encouraged by recent reports on massive online attacks. It supported by a survey administered by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills wherein they found out the need to skilled professionals in the field of cyber security.
