No matter how hard experts do try to protect a corporation’s online security, hackers always seem to have their way into firewalls and any means of online security. Just recently, it has been reported that 34 banks in Sweden, Switzerland, Japan and Austria have been attacked by cybercriminals. Experts believe and state that hackers are continuously defeating what’s touted as an effective and strong security protocol online.
The attack that happened in those areas proved that hackers could get past a 2-factor authentication method. This action requires customers typing codes that are sent to their cell phones through a downloadable mobile app reported by Trend Micro, a security firm.
