Despite the efforts of everyone to defend against the Heartbleed attack, most of the sites that you visit today are still better off than they were before, while in other cases, they’re situation is much worse. Most of the sites that reinforced the vulnerable OpenSSL after the said attack was reported last April 7 and then went to revoke any compromised SSL certificate. That lead most companies or websites to order a new one. Still, more than 30,000 websites today are still using the same private key just like what the old, compromised one do have.
