globe2Recently, the NSA denies a report linking them to the Heartbleed flaw, accusing them of using it for them to conduct surveillance operations. According to the U.S. National Security Agency, which has surveillance as well as a cyber-security mission, has disputed that it has anything to do with the Heartbleed security vulnerability. This happened at least a couple of years before expert researchers have disclosed its flaw this month. Based from a report from Bloomberg, the said agency used Heartbleed in order to collect intelligence. Heartbleed is believed to be a flaw in any Open SSL that allows attackers to monitor and observe any information passed between any web service and a user.
