Despite the Obama administration’s effort to limiting the online bugs, Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), a group of privacy advocates filed a follow up lawsuit against National Security Agency (NSA) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, demanding transparency on the security vulnerabilities of the country’s intelligence group.
Under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the lawsuit pursues the authority to explain the new policy on Internet vulnerability, which the White House has previously denied.
Privacy and digital rights supporters are concerned that such government activity weakens Internet security, thus making it easier for online terrorists to hack the U.S. systems. Read more from the source.
