Just recently, the National Cyber Security Alliance or NCSA, which is an organization, based in Washington, D.C., aims to promote online safety and security. Its board members consist of experts from Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Comcast and other top U.S. companies. The organization works hand in hand with the Department of Homeland Security to give security advice for American-based consumers and businesses. The NCSA is the one behind a campaign called the “Stop. Think. Connect”. They basically aim to promote awareness to people and encourage them to be more careful when doing activities online.
