Google asked over 200 security experts on how they handle online security and compared their answers to 300 non-experts. Spot the difference. Online security experts install updates to spot possible breach and fix them while non-experts are anxious about software updates and think that they can lead to more bugs. Online experts use antivirus software but they don’t solely depend on it while non-experts highly depend on using them. Experts are into strong and complicated passwords, they venture into it by using a password manager. They also use two-factor authentication to avoid other users from changing their logins. They also visit secured sites as they recognize them with HTTPS. Lastly, they advise others to do follow their lead.
