Noam Chomsky continues to remind all people as to how the world nearly ended in chaos when Russia placed their nuclear-armed missiles in hostile locations in Cuba about 50 years ago. Well, that have all gone when the crisis officially ended, according to Sheldon Stern, the former historian of the John F. Kennedy Library and publisher of the authoritative versions of ExComm tape meetings. Based from what the tape is all about, President Kennedy held a meeting that included his most trusted advisors as to how they should respond to that crisis.
