A couple of days ago, a group of researchers has reported that a huge vulnerability in OpenSSL, which is the current version of the standard SSL technology being used by most websites in securing connections on the web. Online banking, credit card transactions and other form of sensitive activities mostly use OpenSSL. This form of security online can be noticed whenever you open a webpage, using HTTPS instead of HTTP. This is used to encrypt online communications as well as other online activities.
