security1Last Thursday, the government of China announces that it will conduct further examination of its information technology assets for any possible security flaws. Many experts believe that China is doing this due to the tensions between the said country and Washington due to the latter’s accusations of cyber-spying. Experts in the country will inspect and examine services and products that are used for communications, energy, national security, finance and other such purposes.  According to the Xinhua News Agency, which cited the Cabinet’s Internet Information Office, the inspections will be conducted to both Chinese and foreign made products. Any supplier that fails the inspections will be banned from being sold in China. For more information regarding this post, go to the source.
