In a survey conducted by You Gov, an internet-based market research firm that operates globally, it has been probed that majority of British adults are willing to pay extra amount of money just to keep their online information safe from hackers and cyber attackers.
Some of the respondents think that they are responsible for their own online security while others believe that the system can protect their online data. The survey was conducted among 2,000 British adults.
Among the online security information are date of birth and address. This information are most commonly used to verify personal information of a person during banking and other services.
