Milwaukee – Just recently, a security expert said that over 600 million data were stolen ever since the law was passed, which requires the people to be notified whenever their information is stolen or accessed by hackers. According to William Pelgrim, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Center for Internet Security, a non-profit organization stated that he was also a victim of cybercrime when somebody else filed for his taxes and got the refund other than himself. Pelgrim made that speech during the second yearly Cyber Security Conference held in Milwaukee.
Pelgrim warned anyone doing his or her transaction online to very careful. He also added most cybercrimes start at home. For more information, contact the source.
