B2B International and Kaspersky Lab conducted a survey which showed that 20% of internet users disregard the importance of their passwords to online security. In reality, passwords serve as keys to a user’s personal information. Take for example the password to an email. It will allow cyber criminals to access all accounts connected with that email through scanning various messages stored in its Inbox folder. One tip that can mitigate security risk is to create different passwords for different accounts. And to ensure that no one else can access your account, avoid giving them to your friends or relatives and store your passwords in a safe location.
