Tabletop exercises do enable an organization to analyze any potential emergency they are facing at hand. This method is done in an informal surrounding and is designed to promote constructive discussions amongst its participants as they go along in examining the existing operational plans as well as the capacity to determine areas of improvements. In order to make this a secure one, both sides of the table should address security issues appropriately.
Such exercises seem like a natural for information and physical security, because they provide a forum for planning, preparation and coordination of resources during any kind of attack.
