Based from Trend Micro’s 2015 report for the second quarter, there are multiple issues that need to be resolved regarding security space. The report indicates that today’s hackers are getting more and more creative and innovative with their attacks. Some of the most famous attacks they have done recently were the hacking of the U.S. Office Personnel Management system done last June and the Internal Revenue Service attack in May. Raimund Genes of Trend Micro says that the potential damage that can be caused by cybercrimes do extend beyond malware or simple software. What is also alarming from that report is that the instances of DNS or Domain Name System changer detection rose from 14% during the first quarter to 81% in the second quarter.
